We had a great Saturday filled with fun! Elle and I went to Nicole's house to help her prepare for the 8th annual Halloween Party. Elle enjoyed all the decor they had up, she was not scared at all. After leaving Nicoles house, Elle got to spend the night at grandpa and Nana Lee's house.

I got home, Patrick and I went to Arena to eat and watch our Buckeyes lose:( We ran into some friends and then off to our house we went. Not prepared at all for the next event, we decided we should go to the party after all. We should never miss this annual event. They throw the best parties and no one will ever beat them! So we immediately come up with outfits. I run to Walgreens to get some essential items to complete our costumes and we are ready within 45 mins.

We get there, dance into the crowd and the look on Nicole's face was priceless! I had told her and three other friends that we were not coming. "I cannot drink and it just ruins all the fun of the night." So we surprised them!) The bar was filled with people in line waiting for the bartender to fix there concoctions. The costumes were outrageous and over the top. The decor frightened the unexpected and the music kept us all dancing the night away. Once again a party we'll never forget! The Brixey's definitely know how to throw parties! Here are the pics from the evening, enjoy.

So I finally found pictures of the new babies bedding! Wanted to share with you all. Now we just need to get the furniture in black to complete the room. I would love to find a crib exactly like the one in the photo! We are hoping the next child will like pigs, sheep, ducks and cows. Elle loves fish and that is what her room is decorated in! We are still working on buying another house, so we'll keep you informed on that too. Here are the pictures!

What a week so far! I found out I have a bladder infection on Monday, so that explains why I have been feeling pretty bad. Well, plus the pregnancy. The antibiotic I am on makes me feel more nauseus than I already am, kind of upsetting, but not for much longer.

I finally got to the gym on Wednesday!! Saw some friends and their kids, my have they grown. I had not been to the gym in over a month. Elle was so happy to be playing with them again, she missed them.

We have been taking bike rides a lot and this week we have gone twice. Both times have taken Elle to a park, she really enjoys watching the other kids. She right now rathers observing them than running around and climbing.

Today we went to Schnepf farms. It was a blast, we played with animals in the petting zoo, rode a carousel, Elle rode her first amusement ride(HoneyBee), ate chicken, chili and corn on the cob. Then it was off to the pumpkin patch! We already had a good pumpkin at home, so we did not buy one. However, we did find a small one in the parking lot! Jackpot! We took it home and its sitting next to the scarecrow on the front porch. Elle really enjoyed herself as well as Patrick and I.

Tomorrow we are off to another location, will post pics from that! Enjoy the slideshow from today!

MOPS Convention was so inspirational for me as a mom and a believer in GOD. It made me realize things about being a mom and raising my child, that I had not thought of before. The stories of the speakers were memorable, they will stay with me for life. We chose four speakers to listen to and I listened to a man on "Speaking your man's language," he talked about how to understand the man in your life better. I really needed this!

I also listened to three women speakers, one on how to let your husband help out with the children, whether they do things the same way as I do or not. The other on self image, accepting me as I am, and giving all of me to my kids/husband. Making sure the house is always spotless is something kids are not going to remember. Play with your children, thats what forms memories to laugh about later in life! Then the last woman talked about technology in our society and how to be a better leader. Keep the one on one conversations going, try not to use email/text messaging.

Overall, I came back a better woman/wife/mother! I would love to go again next year, so I'm looking forward to it. Hope you enjoyed the photos of our group! There were five of us from our town in Arizona- Yaneth, Sofia, Nancy, Colleen and I. We were so lucky to get bumped up to a suite at the resort, we all stayed together and shared many things about us, shared spooky stories and laughed alot! We had a great time.

Elle and I went back to Ohio for a long weekend. Boy was it jammed packed with stuff. We got in Wed. night at 8:30pm, time to eat dinner for us, get to my moms and she had a great meal prepared.

Thursday was our shopping day, we got tons of cute stuff. We even found the new babies bedding, lamp and mobile! We are going with a farm animal theme, super cute and unisex. The main bedding color is black, so it will go great with a black crib. Just need to purchase that next. Wow, did not realize how shopping with my mom and sister would completely wipe me out. I was getting dizzy, lightheaded and had to eat and drink constantly. Trying to not make my pregnant body more nauseus.

Friday was supposed to be filled with my in-laws in Dayton. I woke up and felt awful, Elle had been up most of the night and I just could not drive. Let alone get myself out of bed. I felt so bad calling the in-laws and canceling our plans. They were super sad, but completely understood. I hope to see them soon enough! So Elle and I spent the day in our pajamas and layed around the house and played. We did make it outside, which was good of us.

Saturday morning was spent at the Columbus Zoo, we had a blast. It was a gorgeous day on top of the fun. Elle saw her fish, penquins, monkeys and I believe she fell asleep after that. Oh, we did take her on a boat ride, which she did enjoy! She is such an adventurer, takes after her mommy.

Sunday we went to an art festival down by COSI(science center)and found her a really cute tutu, magic wand and headband. Mom also bought some paintings, can't wait to see them hung. Sunday night, we ordered take-out and went boating on Lee's pontoon! Wrigley(dog), Mom, Lee, Robyn, Elle and I piled on and off we went down the Scioto river. It was so peaceful, I could have stayed on that boat for days, so could Elle and Wrigley.

Elle absolutely is a dog lover, especially Wrigley. Now we have three dogs of our own. Would have four, but mom has one-Wrigley. Elle will talk to the dog, giving him commands, hug, kiss and touch all day long. Wrigley loves her back just the same. He protects her, makes sure she is doing okay and lets us know when she is waking up from the night or naps. Its really quite sweet.

Overall, it was hard to leave this Ohio trip, we had fabulous time. Enjoy the pics!

WE ARE PREGNANT!

Yes, we are having another baby, due May 3rd. Our new baby is due TWO days after Elle was supposed to be due. We had to have her earlier due to complications, but are super excited.

We were both initially freaked out, but are easing into the thought of another one around the house. Elle turned out to be such an angel, how could we go wrong by having two!

This means we get to have ONE birthday party, which makes it way easier on relatives that live far away. The new baby should have the same great attitude that Elle has, which is a BONUS!

So wish me luck on this pregnancy. I do believe that the stress from work, driving two hours a day, and taking care of the house were causes of my complications. Plus the fact that my heart is messed up, PVC's! I am praying that I do not have the blackouts, loss of memory and scares during this pregnancy. Life seems to be a little more fun playing with Elle!

This weekend, we have laid low, have not felt good for a week. Elle has been sick, but her spirits seem high, so we have been playing. Here are some pics and a video for you to enjoy! (The video is pretty dark, we did not have enough lights on, but you still get the idea)

August Fun in the Sun!

August was a fun month, we had a lot of things going on. I want to share the photos of Elle playing in the water whether at our pool, friends or in the tub. She is becoming very talkative, saying really whatever we say. From mommy, puppy, mickey, papa, baby, poppy, trash, splash, ravioli, to so much more. She is very bright! Her emotions have come out in full force as well. She gets super mad, then turns around and is super happy. She has thrown many tantrums, her body falls to the floor and she wiggles about. Its not a pretty sight, but oh, well, she is becoming a woman! Well, enjoy the pictures and we will keep you updated.

Scorpions Concert

Patrick, Bob and I went down to Tuscon to see Scorpions. We had a great trip driving down there. We stopped at a truck stop to get gas and food. Bob started cleaning the front windshield and Patrick and I heard a SHRIEK! The windshield squeege smelled so awful. As the boys were in getting food, I noticed this Yeah, CLEAN, right!

We were just having fun and Bob was putting on socks and was complaining how they were short. Supposedly when he bought them, he thought they were knee high. So he puts the first one on; short. The second foot made us all laugh, it was way longer than the first! Obviously they were not a PAIR.

Our seats were three rows infront of the stage. Before the show started we noticed people standing between the stage and the seats. So off we were to stand next to the stage! It was awesome, we were so close and I got some really good pictures.
